"Create the Future" Design Contest
NASA Tech Briefs has announced the "Create the Future" Design Contest, which rewards innovative thinking in solving science and technology based problems. The contest, co-sponsored by SolidWorks, HP, Comsol, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, asks participants to submit new products or ideas that advance the specific areas of machinery, equipment, and component technology; consumer products; medical; safety and security; transportation; and sustainable technologies. The grand prize winner will take home US$20,000 and the top entry in each category will win a HP XW 4400 Workstation. The final submission deadline is 15 October 2007.
