Computer Science and Engineering

Rada Mihalcea has won the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest honor a beginning scientist or engineer can receive in the United States. She is among the top 100 university researchers nationwide, among a dozen professors who received a NSF CAREER award, and the only professor in the Dallas/Fort Worth region to achieve this recognition.
