SoMiC Workshop: Security on the Move and in the Clouds on April 5, 2013

SoMiC Workshop: Security on the Move and in the Clouds was held at UNT’s Discovery Park on April 5, 2013. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the National Convergence Technology Center at Collin College, sponsored a workshop on security issues related to mobile device platforms and applications, Social Media and the Cloud.

The conference was intended for Community College and University Faculty Members and Students as well as Industry Professionals interested in discussing new trends in security as well as address security-related issues in the mobile space, the rise of Social Media and Cloud Computing and Storage.

Conference Chair was Dr. Ram Dantu, Professor in the CSE Department and Director of the UNT Network Security Laboratory. Mr. David Keathly, Senior Lecturer in the CSE Department and Co-PI National Convergence Technology Center, was the Proceedings and Publicity Chair for the Workshop.
