I am an an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas (UNT).

My research areas include cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), autonomous vehicle security, and social media analysis for cybersecurity.

Previously, I was a Research Assistant Professor at the ECE Dept. at University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ where I have also received my PhD (on Autonomic Cloud Resource Management).

Before starting my PhD at The University of Arizona, I was at Ozyegin University, Istanbul, Turkey for one year.

I received my MS degree from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and my BS degree from Bahcesehir University, Istanbul, Turkey.
